Sing We Nowell! (Join us online December 20!)
If it’s your tradition, there’s nothing that goes straight to the heart like a Christmas carol. Even people new to the form, or raised in different traditions, can be fans. Winter and holiday carols go back to the 1300s! And the practice of wassailing groups wandering town singing carols in the streets dates back to the 19th century.
During last year’s pandemic shutdown, PEV started its own festive caroling tradition with an online singalong. In deference to the times we (still) live in, we will once again host the fun online this year. We hope you’ll join us for many of our favorite carols on Monday, December 20, at 6:30 Pacific, on Zoom, to sing along and celebrate the holiday in PEV style! The choir will be able to sing live from their living rooms, without any Zoom-induced lag time, using JackTrip devices. You’ll hear us sounding as if we were in the room with you! Feel free to sing along or listen. And since you’ll be at home, consider bringing a festive beverage, too, to toast the winter solstice.
We do hope you can join us! Either way, thank you for your continued support this year. And we each wish each of you a new year of hope and joy!
