Shoor-e Mastaan (Passion of the Intoxicated), sung in Persian by the Pacific Mozart Ensemble and accompanied by santoor, ney, percussion, and bass, created a cross-cultural message of unity and universal humanity at a time of escalating tensions. The piece premiered on March 30 and 31, 2012.
