Building on 35 years of dynamic choral singing in the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world, Pacific Edge Voices is a premier Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble, best known for our extensive diverse repertoire of high quality choral a cappella music, as well as collaborations with high-profile and popular artists such as Dave Brubeck, Meredith Monk, and Bobby McFerrin.
Under the music direction of Dr. Lynne Morrow, our love of singing in community and creating a shared experience with every audience drives our commitment to excellence in live and recorded performance.
Pacific Edge Voices attracts highly-trained singers with strong and diverse artistic backgrounds and experience. The semi-professional, auditioned chorus has toured in the US and internationally, performing in New York’s Carnegie Hall, Germany, France, Cuba, and England.
On the eve of our 35th anniversary season in 2014, the Pacific Mozart Ensemble (PME) changed our name to Pacific Edge Voices to reflect the group’s distinct and longstanding innovation – performing multiple musical genres, collaborating on new works by diverse composers and performing artists, and presenting courageous and innovative vocal music programs.
